Your story tells me a lot about how ridiculously numb minded white supermacists are. I feel really sorry for the HR and the company who have no idea what value they might have missed out on. I’m not saying this to brown nose you, but saying this because I felt this in your writing. It’s powerful and you wrote your story without placing a blame and neatly depicting your take.

I had gone through this, not a racism based issue but one based on my origin. I was shouted at on phone and in person with nasty words for no reason. I simply wrote a huge email, directed to board of directors, the entire C suite and everyone involved.

I strongly believe we shouldn’t stay where we don’t belong because us moving on is their loss.
